Inside Nick Vujicic’s New Texas Banking Venture Rooted Deep in Christian Values

A new financial institution is making waves in Texas, and not for offering sky-high interest rates or flashy credit perks.

It’s because it refuses to fund abortion.

ProLifeFintech, a faith-based financial technology company co-founded by motivational speaker Nick Vujicic, launched recently with a bold promise: to provide mainstream banking services that align with Christian values and unapologetically defend the sanctity of life.

The initiative is a direct response to what its founders view as a growing disconnect between traditional banks and people of faith.

An Evening to Launch a Mission

The company celebrated its launch during a Saturday night gala in Plano, Texas. Described as “an unforgettable evening” to unveil a financial institution that “honors God and aligns with His principles,” the event was hosted by ProLifeFintech co-founder Betsy Gray and featured a high-profile lineup of speakers.

Guests included Nick Vujicic, retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, and economic analyst Kevin Freeman. Each speaker brought a perspective on faith, freedom, and financial stewardship, echoing the foundational message behind ProLifeFintech.

The Painful Personal Story Behind the Initiative

For Nick Vujicic, this isn’t just business. It’s personal and rooted in a painful turning point.

“In 2019, I was framed and canceled for my Christian values,” Nick Vujicic told The Christian Post in an interview. “People were so hateful that we had a grenade at our home, a false magazine article published against me, a lawsuit threat, and a drone spying on my family and me. This culminated in being canceled by Chase Bank without cause.”

He said no explanation was ever provided. But for him, the motive was clear: his public alignment with conservative, Christian views. It was a wake-up call, not only about the risks of public faith, but about where his money was going.

Nick Vujicic wasn’t alone in asking hard questions. Around the same time, he was introduced to Betsy Gray, a longtime pro-life clinic director, who was researching local banks in her community and beyond.

“What she found shocked her,” he emphasized. “Every bank and credit union she reached out to philanthropically supported Planned Parenthood.”

That shared concern became the seed of something bigger.

God, said Nick Vujicic, was nudging them to act. “Are you ready to start my bank?” he recalled sensing. That prompting became ProLifeFintech, a fusion of faith and financial innovation built to serve Christians who no longer trust big banking institutions.

“Here we are, building something we’re incredibly passionate about,” he said.

How ProLifeFintech Works

But make no mistake: this isn’t just a feel-good startup with nice branding.

ProLifeFintech operates under the sponsorship of a faith-based bank. That means it doesn’t hold its own banking charter, but still provides modern services, checking accounts, debit cards, and more, through tech-forward solutions. The difference? Your deposits won’t go toward institutions that fund or promote abortion or other values misaligned with Christian principles.

Instead, the company pledges transparency, stewardship, and integrity. Customers can bank with confidence, knowing their money won’t be redirected to causes they oppose.

“Had I not been canceled by my bank, I may not have co-founded ProLifeFintech,” Nick Vujicic reflected. “It was through that experience that I realized the urgent need for a secure, values-driven financial alternative, because no one should ever be canceled for their conservative beliefs.”

Banking That Reflects What You Believe

Nick Vujicic’s motivation is simple: people of faith should be able to trust that their finances are handled with spiritual integrity.

“I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t want to put my money in a bank knowing that they could use it to donate to organizations that don’t value the sanctity of life,” he said. “I want to know that my money, God’s money, is in a bank that honors God, serves people, and always chooses to support life, all human life.”

What’s Next for ProLifeFintech

While the launch took place in Texas, ProLifeFintech’s ambitions extend well beyond state lines. The company is aiming to grow nationally, offering faith-based individuals, churches, and nonprofits an alternative to traditional financial institutions that often back progressive political causes. For Nick Vujicic and Betsy Gray, this is more than just a venture; it’s a mission. One rooted in conviction, built through adversity, and powered by the belief that finance should serve faith, not silence it.
